Providing visibility is the main benefit for voters. Once they sign up using our simple, secure page, voters are alerted at each stage of the ballot process; from printed to counted. Our technology combines voter registration, USPS tracking, and election office data points allowing for real-time, custom ballot status messaging via email, text, or voice. Election officials can also send custom reminders about upcoming or active elections to prompt voters to send in their ballots or cure rejected ones.
Our platform can be used for year-round opted-in citizen communications in 14 languages and the visibility that BallotTrax provides virtually eliminates the possibility for ballot fraud. Since we track the envelopes and not the ballots themselves, voter secrecy stays intact. If a voter decides to vote in person and surrender their mail ballot, they get an alert. If they drop their ballot off in a drop box, they get an alert. If they forget to sign their ballot, they get an alert. All of these communications enhance the voter experience, confidence and gives voters peace-of-mind that their vote counts.

The first step in any voting process is getting registered. What once required a trip to City Hall or local polling place may now be done on a phone or a click of a mouse. The National Voter Registration Act of 1993, also known as the Motor Voter Act, provides individuals with the opportunity to register to vote at the same time that they apply for a driver’s license. More recently, election day registration, pre-registration of youth, and online registration have become the norm. 39 states now allow online voter registration through a website or even a mobile app.
Our Txt2Register technology was developed to simplify the process even further. Citizens can text their two-letter, state abbreviation code to 2VOTE and receive a direct link to the online voter registration site in participating states. This direct link avoids third-party voter registration organizations that collect data and then pass it along to the local election officials to complete the registration.
Communicating with election officials can often be a challenge. Clerks and county and state administrators are very busy, especially during an active election. Our platform is designed to streamline these communications through text technology. Voters can text questions, concerns, or comments directly to the election office … any time, any place. The election office can then respond in real-time or when it is most convenient and provide another positive voter experience. These communications can also be tracked and reported as needed to further enhance election management at every level.
American citizens are always watching out to protect the legitimacy of every election. There is room for improvement in identifying, promoting, and exercising channels for communicating key information when it comes to reporting suspicious activity around elections. Secure2Vote gives voters a way to easily communicate any concerns they have about any part of the election process by directly texting the local election office.
Election officials can respond to security alerts as needed in real-time or when it is appropriate or convenient for non-emergent reports. it is important that all citizens feel that every election has been conducted with integrity and honest principles, boosting voter confidence and participation.
BallotTrax has the ability to alert voters as soon as their ballot has been rejected for any reason. This is a critical feature so the voter has time to cure the ballot before the election closes.
Once a voter is alerted that their ballot has been rejected, they can act on curing the ballot in two ways: visit their election office, provide ID and confirm ballot; use ETPs secure Signature Cure technology.
One of the most frustrating experiences for voters is to take the time to vote-by-mail and then find out something is wrong with their ballot. The most common problems with vote-by-mail ballots are the signatures; either voters forget to sign or the signature doesn’t match the records. Signature verification is a very important process to keep the VBM process secure and free from fraud. So if a signature doesn’t look right, then the signature cure process begins. In many states and by law, election officials will send a letter to the effected voter and an invitation to come to the election office to verify the ballot. That works great, but if a trip to the election office is not possible or desirable then SigCure provides another way to verify right on a mobile device. No special trip, no postage, and no hassle.
This mobile platform provides the ultimate ease-of-use for both election officials and voters. Whether you are voting as an HOA member, school representative, or in an official State or County election, SigCure is a quick and convenient way to complete the vote-by-mail ballot process.
